The Download

Welcome to our December 2022 edition
of 'The Download'

Nearing the end of 2022, we look back at some of the events and news from the second half of this year.

With our exciting rebranding taking centre stage, we also look at the positive impact of our Tree[3] sustainability initiative’s inaugural year and some associated events we have supported. Finally, we also have some news of a new team member and an addition to the d-flo 10 Year Club.

d-flo Limited

The launch of our new branding

The world is a very different place from when we launched in 2011, and many millions of communication later, we decided to evolve the d-flo brand to reflect that. With new colours and a new logo, the new branding was brought into line with the values that now form a fundamental part of the d-flo mission. and purpose.

Going green. We moved away from blue, a colour traditionally associated with corporate reliability. Already proven to offer an incredible 99.999% up-time, we decided our new colour choice had to reflect our additional sustainability focus. The green we’ve chosen sets us apart in our industry, with a dynamic hue that speaks to this brave new mission we’re making part of our company DNA.

The square root. Our logo also got a refresh. The floating square (being a nod to our original logo) with its placement – set slightly apart from the ‘o’ – represents the importance of dazzling communication as part of the customer experience. It’s the (often missing) puzzle piece that makes a good brand great.

You can read more about how carbon comms are at the centre of our proposition with this company profile written by Travolution’s editor Lee Hayhurst, following his visit to d-flo HQ.

Communications with a carbon conscience

Launched earlier this year, our Tree[3] sustainability initiative sees us working together with our clients to help them deliver their customer communications carbon neutrally. Through a partnership with Ecologi, we – and our clients – can be assured that the carbon offset and tree planting projects collectively funded are verified at the highest level by Gold Standard and ‘s Verified Carbon Standard program. And what’s more, there is no direct financial impact to our clients.

With some amazing results – with the amount of carbon offset and tress planted below – in its first year, it’s fair to say that our Tree[3] initiative has been a phenomenal success, for everyone.
