d-flo, the innovative customer communications specialist, has joined ATAS to share insights on the importance of engaging customer communications with adventure holiday specialists.
London, 8 September 2017: d-flo Limited joins new trade body ATAS to share its expertise in engaging better with customers through more compelling communications.
Trade body the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (ATAS), launched in April this year by Travel Weekly, has a mission to drive trade awareness and build sales in the burgeoning sector of adventure holidays.
d-flo, which already works with a number of ATAS members, wholeheartedly supports the body’s aims to collate better market data, and provide better support and training for travel agents operating in this fast-growing sector. It believes that agents have a huge opportunity to develop a market among customers eager to book holidays that offer a taste of excitement but who don’t want the hassle of research and organising trips themselves.
d-flo will be sharing its insights and experience on the importance of high quality communications to the delivery of the overall customer experience with ATAS members. Compelling and personalised communications can feed the sense of anticipation and excitement felt by an adventure holiday customer and help build a richer, deeper connection to the customer.
Colin Brimson, Co-Founder and CEO of d-flo Limited commented: “ATAS has been formed at just the right time to provide agents with the necessary insights and learnings to expand their knowledge and better serve customers.
We know that when it comes to adventure travel, tailored and timely communications will give an agent a critical edge. A company that meets the high expectations customers have of these premium products will reap the rewards of loyalty and word of mouth recommendation.
d-flo’s TravelComms platform has been widely adopted throughout the UK and Scandinavia and by ATAS members, including Great Rail Journeys, Riviera Travel, Travelsphere and Just You.
d-flo has evolved rapidly since its launch in 2011 with year on year organic growth. Initially a disruptive start-up, it is now a mature business with a large client base. The company launched CrisisComms, a solution that empowers businesses with the ability to reach customers with essential advice, information and warnings in an emergency, in May this year.
