This notification is to reassure d-flo’s commitment to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as set out by the European Union.
Being introduced by the European Commission, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will strengthen and unify data protection for individuals throughout the single market and will apply in the UK from 25th May 2018.
Following investment into the necessary training and the forming of a dedicated GDPR project team, we will be undertaking a comprehensive review and gap analysis of our customer-facing systems and services. We are already expecting a number of subsequent compulsory modifications which will see the prioritising of internal resource scheduling in order to achieve compliance.
We do not anticipate that our clients will have to take any action concerning d-flo’s General Data Protection Regulation compliance projects. Additionally, we are committed to completing the final GDPR project by the end of February 2018, well in advance of the European Union’s effective date.
d-flo is in the business of communications and so any associated data management and processing by our customer-facing systems and services is taken very seriously. For further information regarding d-flo’s GDPR compliance strategy, email the d-flo Data Protection Officer.
